The art gallery is located in one of the most significant architectural contexts of Rio de Janeiro, in a building of the end of the XIX century. The renovation opened a vertical void in the back of the building to creating a 15 meters high exhibition space that interconnects the three levels. This space is topped by a skylight which floods the gallery with natural light. Diffuse light boxes and recessed tracks for spotlights and wallwashers complement the system, allowing a diversity of solutions. The achitectural details are concise and the HVAC systems are entirely hidden to avoid any visual interverence.

A galeria de arte está localizada em um dos contextos arquitetônicos mais significativos do Rio de Janeiro, em um prédio do final do século XIX. A renovação abriu um vazio vertical na parte de trás do prédio para criar um espaço de exposição de 15 metros de altura que interconecta os três níveis. Este espaço é coberto por uma clarabóia que inunda a galeria com luz natural. Caixas de luz difusas e trilhos recuados para holofotes e wallwashers complementam o sistema, permitindo uma diversidade de soluções. Os detalhes arquitetônicos são concisos e os sistemas HVAC são totalmente ocultos para evitar qualquer interverência visual.
